A truly wonderful and caring lady! She loved her students and always smiled when talking about them. Columbus County Schools has lost one of the best and she will be missed. The entire family is in our prayers.

Penny has always been a sweet person. I remember attending her wedding. The sweetest, most spiritual wedding I can remember and then the church bell was rung after Don and Penny were announced man and wife. So long ago but such a memorable occasion. Please know all of you are in my prayers. May her memories live on forever in your hearts and know that she loved each and everyone. Penny had a sweet and humble spirit. I will always remember her.
