John Henry Bruton, age  77 , died Thursday, February 18, 2016 in Loris.  Born February 23, 1938 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late John Bruton and Margaret Smith Bruton.

He is survived by his wife: Sallie Grainger Bruton of Loris; three sons: Johnny Dale Bruton of Green Sea, Donald Kim Bruton (Sharra) of Loris, Johnny Henry Bruton Jr. (Amanda) of North Myrtle Beach; three brothers: Garland Brooks Cole of Columbia, Robbie Waldon of Whiteville, Delean Waldon of Whiteville; two sisters: Jeanette Walden of Whiteville, Rose Mary Waldon of Lake Whillians; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 22, 2016 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City, N.C.  Burial will follow in Twin City Memorial Gardens, Loris, SC.
