Johnny and I grew up and lived in the same neighborhood for years. We enjoyed the company of each other. We participated in basketball (he played center), football (he played end and could really catch the ball). Haven't seen him since our school years and I regret that. Sorry Johnny, rest in peace my friend.

To the family and friends of Johnny: May the Holy Spirit comfort you now. May you think of the good times and smile. Through the years Johnny's circle and my circle did not cross often....who has time for anyone anymore?????As a Tabor City teen-ager, I thought that Johnny was especially handsome. In 2004, I was with my husband at Mcleod Hospital in Florence. At lunch time I started to the cafeteria for lunch , and discovered that all our money, cards, checks were in my pocket book still sitting on the table at home. My husband did not want me to look for someone from home that could loan me a few dollars, Johnny was in the next room, visiting a friend; and when I mentioned money, both took out money and offered it to me. I took $5 from Johnny and enjoyed lunch and later paid him back. I should have paid him interest or a tip. My husband said, " Why did you not borrow more?" Wednesday, when I was leaving the doctor's office in Tabor City, I saw him across the room. I wanted to go over and speak to him, but rushed out to go by the drug store. But we did grin and wave at each other. God be with you! Lou Floy Milligan
