Loris, SC

Roger Dale Strickland, age 69, died Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC.  Born July 15, 1946 in Horry County, SC, he was the son of the late Hallie Hubert Strickland and Hazel Ward Strickland. 

He is survived by his wife: Mary Berta Anderson Strickland of Loris; one daughter: Sabrina Fowler (Terry) of Loris; one son: Roger L. Williams (Patti) of Loris; one brother: George Todd (Barbara) of Walterboro: one grandson: Logan Fowler of Loris; and one great granddaughter: Toni Williams of Loris; one nephew: George Todd, Jr. of Walterboro; one great nephew: Wyatt Todd of Walterboro; and one great niece: Mariah Todd of Walterboro.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11 AM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City.  Burial will follow in Twin City Memorial Gardens, Loris, SC.
