Ms. Lois Ruth Hardie, age 85, died Monday, March 28, 2016 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center, Whiteville, NC.  Born July 13, 1930 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley Hardie and Ruth Stocks Hardie.

She is survived by one nephew: Kenneth Fowler and one niece: Angela Fowler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister: Annie Mae Fowler.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 2 PM to 3 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 3 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City. Burial will follow in the Stanley Cemetery, 2621 Mollie Rd, Clarendon, NC.
