Flaudia Fowler, age 84, of Clarendon, died Sunday, January 21, 2018 in her home. Born in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Tobie Godwin and Mary Garrell Godwin and the widow of the late Andrew J. Fowler.

She is survived by three daughters: Iris McPherson of Clarendon, NC, Betty Fowler Cartrette and husband Bobby of Clarendon, NC and Diane Fowler McPherson and husband Danny of Chadbourn, NC; one brother: O’Neal Godwin of Ash, NC; four granddaughters: Cassie Hoffman, Dannelle Hinson, Andrea McPherson and Faith Cartrette; one great grandson: Noah Hoffman: and special caregiver: Sena Medina.

She was preceded in death by three sisters: Inez Glazier, Elizabeth Penny, and Alina Mae Godwin; three brothers: Arvel “Curley” Godwin, Shedward Godwin and Edward Godwin.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 22, 2018 from 7 PM until 9 PM in Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church and burial to follow in McPherson Cemetery, Chadbourn, NC.
