Clarendon, NC

Mr. Eure Theodore “E.T.” Hinson, age 75, died Monday, February 29, 2016, in the McLeod Loris Hospital.  Born May 25, 1940 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late George Lacy Hinson and Mattie Mae Cribb Hinson. 

 He is survived by his wife: Ila Faulk Cribb Hinson of Clarendon; one son: Barry Hinson of Clarendon; one brother: Gene Roger Hinson of Clarendon; three sisters: Janice Powell of Clarendon, Ruby Hinson of Clarendon, Virgie McPherson of Clarendon; one step son: William Earl Cribb of Tabor City, NC; three step daughters: Vickie Edwards of Chadbourn, NC, Dollie Elkins of Clarendon, NC, Yvonne Smith of Myrtle Beach, SC; two grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; and seventeen step great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Doris Mae Worley Hinson; three brothers: Woodrow Hinson, Elbert Hinson, and George “Junior” Hinson.

 Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 11 AM in the Beaverdam Freewill Baptist Church in Chadbourn, NC.  Burial will follow in the Hinson Cemetery, Clarendon, NC.
