Clarendon, NC

Mrs. Dolores McPherson Godwin, age 57, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in the Columbus Regional Medical Center, Whiteville, NC.  Born September 3, 1958 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Cecil McPherson and Agnes Hinson McPherson of Clarendon, NC.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband: Charles David Godwin of Clarendon; one son: Casey Godwin (Cydell) of Clarendon; one brother; Delane McPherson of Clarendon; and two grandchildren: Candice Godwin and Coy Godwin.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 09, 2016, from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Beaverdam Freewill Baptist Church, Chadbourn, NC.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 10, 2016, at 11 AM in the Beaverdam Freewill Baptist Church, Clarendon, NC.  Burial will follow in the Hinson Cemetery, Clarendon, NC.
