Mrs. Ruby Luizer Hinson, age 83, of Beaverdam Road, Clarendon, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in the McLeod Loris Hospital.  Born June 25, 1933 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late George Lacy Hinson and Mattie Mae Cribb Hinson and the widow of Jason Rudolph “Jake” Hinson.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Hinson Thompson of Clarendon; one brother, Gene Roger Hinson and wife Nancy of Clarendon; two sisters, Janice Powell and husband Monte of Clarendon, Virgie McPherson and husband Hoyt of Clarendon; and one grandson, Jason Thompson of Clarendon.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Eure Theodore “E.T. Hinson, Woodrow Hinson, Elbert Hinson, George “Junior” Hinson; and one sister, Mertis Hinson.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 15, 2016 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Beaverdam Original Freewill Baptist Church in Chadbourn.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 2 PM in the Beaverdam Original Freewill Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
