Donna and family
I worked at UCB for many years. Mack was one of my favorite customers.  We talked about his love for his family and his love for hunting.  No one could have been a better person to talk with and work with than Mack.  Always friendly, courteous, and smiling  while in the bank, on the street, or at work.  He will be missed by everyone who knew him.  Mack made a good impression and lived a life that everyone should take note of and pattern our life using his life as an example.  It has to be very hard to lose Mack but look upward to our Lord Jesus Christ for your help to continue on with you life.  Always remember the good times and it will help you get through all the bad times now.  May God's blessing be upon you and your family.

Dear Donna, Matthew, Rachael,

You probably don't know us. I Edwin worked with Malcolm Sr. for a number of years and Mitchell Cartrett. We knew Frankie his wife. Also Willaree, who operates the Beauty Shop, in Tabor City. I knew Malcolm Ray Jr.'s grandfather, Kirby, he and Malcolm Sr. Had an account with N.B.S.C. (some years ago) my wife helped them through, Customer Service.  We live approximately 3 miles from Loris. We are familiar with Hills Food Store.

We extend to you and yours our heartfelt sympathy & our prayers are with you.  II Cor. 5:8 "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." Look to Jesus, He will comfort you and yours.

Donna and children please lift your hand to God so that he can carry you through this time.  Mack is with him now and at peace and know that he is watching you and waiting for you until it is time to be together once again.  Mack was my store manager when I was 18 years old at Hill's #1.  He was such a super guy.  Of all the managers I had during my time with Hill's Mack and Edward Ward probably left the biggest impression on me to how a person should treat other people in the business world.  Mack made a huge impact with the short life he had all for good.  I am so thankful to have known him.  When you need strength that you just can't seem to find bend your knees and ask God for his grace and he will help you.  Mack you will be missed!!!!

Friends of Mack.
I stated with Mclean wholesale delivering to Hills in the 80's.  Throughout the transition of McLean, and then Nash Finch, I joined the Air Force but was fortunate enough to be stationed in NC.  I would travel to Myrtle Beach and would stop in and visit Mack at the Whiteville store, tabor city store and then the Lois store.  It was a real treat to visit him and tell him I missed working - delivering groceries to his store.  Praying for his family.  Lord, help his family in time of need.  In your name we pray.  AMEN

Mack, I will miss you my dear friend
