Green Sea, SC

Jimmy Strickland age 76 of the Carolina Community died Sunday in his home. Born in Horry County, SC he was the son of the late Juilus Strickland and Esther Fowler Strickland. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife Sharon A. Strickland, one son Collin Paul of Stanley, NC. One daughter: Virginia Lee Paul of Stanley, NC. One brother: Mitchell “Mickey” Strickland of Green Sea, SC. Four sisters: Ann Hathcock of Matthews, NC. Lucille Fowler of Green Sea, SC. Rosa Lee Michau of Georgetown, SC. Polly Clemons of Green Sea, SC. Three grandchildren: Sydney Christenbury, Sarah Ammons and James Ammons.  He was preceded in death by a daughter Angela S. Christenbury, three brothers: Tommy Strickland, Frank Strickland, Ervin Strickland.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00pm in Inman Ward Chapel with burial to follow in the Carolina Cemetery, Green Sea, SC.
