Mr. Jackie Eugene “Gene” Spivey, age 51, died Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in his home.  Born March 1, 1965 in Thomasville, NC, he was the son of Jackie Preston Spivey and Martha Nobles Spivey of Whiteville.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Donna Sue Sellers Spivey of Chadbourn; one daughter: Kandace Spivey of Lumberton; two brothers: Randy Daryl Spivey of Tabor City, and Gregory Spivey of Cerro Gordo.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 at 2 PM in the Emerson Original Freewill Baptist Church, Tabor City.  Burial will follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.
