Chadbourn, N.C.

Mr. Herman McPherson, age 71, died Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, Whiteville, NC.  Born February 1, 1945 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Avery McPherson and Emma Edwards McPherson. 

He is survived by his wife: Carolyn Ann McPherson of Chadbourn; one son: Herman Lynn McPherson (Yvette) of Chadbourn; one daughter: Cindy Rebecca Anderson of Chadbourn; one brother: Paul McPherson of Chadbourn; one sister: Evelyn Huggins of Chadbourn; three grandchildren: Taylor Anderson, Autumn Anderson, Jesse McPherson

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers:
Elwood McPherson, Horace McPherson; two sisters: Edna Cartrette, Alene Worley; and one daughter: Jamie McPherson.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Beaverdam Original Freewill Baptist Church, Chadbourn, NC.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 4, 2016 at 11 AM in the Beaverdam Original Freewill Baptist Church, Chadbourn, NC.  Burial will follow in the McPherson Cemetery, Chadbourn, NC.
