Chadbourn, NC

Earl Cartrette, age 70, died Thursday, February 18, 2016 in the Lower Cape Hospice and Life Care Center in Whiteville.  Born November 10, 1945 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late William Albert Cartrette and Agnes Mae Hardie Cartrette.

He is survived by two sisters: Josephine Cartrette, Doris Garrell Dudley; and one brother: John Wesley Cartrette, all of Chadbourn.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 6 Pm to 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 2 PM in the Beaverdam Freewill Baptist Church in Chadbourn.  Burial will follow in the McPherson Cemetery, Chadbourn.
