Catherine Fowler Dew, age 87, died Saturday at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, SC. Born in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Ransom David Fowler and Missie Strickland Fowler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Radner Charles “RC” Dew, one daughter, Cathy Jo Dew, one sister and two brothers.

She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Dew Prince of Tabor City, one sister, Christine Gerald (Elwood) of Columbia, SC; three grandchildren: Amanda Brooke Prince, Hannah-Jo Catherine Prince Ashachik (Jeff), and Susan Leanne Prince Gore (Charlie); and two great grandchildren, Giles Hayden Prince and Braxton Greer Prince.

She was a member of Carolina Baptist Church where she attended faithfully with her husband for many years. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 3:00pm at Carolina Baptist Church, 2401 Church Rd. Green Sea, SC 29545, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.

Visitation will be held from 1:30pm until 3:00pm at the church on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Baptist Church, 2401 Church Rd. Green Sea, SC 29545.
