Green Sea, SC

Carl Jack Snyder, age 54, died Wednesday, July 26, 2017, in the Grand Strand Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, SC.  Born May 2, 1963 in Tucson, AZ, he was the son of the late James Dorian Snyder and Peggy Ann Wheeler /Vandyke.

He is survived by his wife: Patricia Hope Snyder of Green Sea; two sons: Shawn David Turner of Chesapeake, VA, William “Billy” James Snyder, best friend and son, of Green Sea; one daughter: Ryan Elizabeth Stende of Pasadena, MD; and one sister: April Stegner of Flagler, CO.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother: Jeffrey Dale Snyder.

He retired from the United States Navy as a CWO3 Officer.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 2 PM in the New Horizon Baptist Church in Tabor City, NC.
