Tabor City, NC 

Mr. Bruce Wayne Thompkins, age 64, died Sunday, February 28, 2016, in the Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC.  Born May 27, 1951, in Horry County, he was the son of the late Oscar Neal Tompkins and Lettie Mae Spivey Tompkins.

He is survived by one sister: Shirley Thompkins Watts and husband Terry of Tabor City; and one brother: Eston Thompkins and wife Frances of Tabor City.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother: Roy Lee Tompkins.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 7 PM to 9 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 3 PM in the Emerson Original Free Will Baptist Church, Tabor City.  Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
