Mr. Steve Douglas Small, age 75, died Monday, February 8, 2016 in the Columbus Regional Medical Center, Whiteville, NC.  Born July 17, 1940 in Horry County, he was the son of the late Montgomery Small and Ruth Coleman Small.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Jo Fowler Small; three sons: Dwayne Ward, Timothy Ward, Rodney Adam Ward, all of Tabor City; one brother: Dewey Small of Loris; four sisters: Rebecca Grainger of Green Sea, SC, Ester Edwards of Florence, SC, Alene Williamson of Wilmington, NC, Shirley Coble of Wilmington, NC; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters: Margie Floyd, Gladys Buffkin; and a brother: Johnny Small.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 3 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City, NC.  Burial will follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
