Chadbourn, NC

Mrs. Nora Gail Norris, age 66, died Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, Whiteville, NC.  She was born November 9, 1950 and was the daughter of the late Charlie Norman Rackley and Lucille Wright Wenger Rackley.

She is survived by her husband: Daniel Grady Norris, Jr. of the home; one daughter: Kristine Michelle Norris of Beavercreek, OH; one son: Brian Daniel Norris of Hampton, VA; one granddaughter: Emily Elizabeth Knight; and one brother: Jimmy Dale Rackley of Hampton, VA.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church, Chadbourn, NC. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lee Wright Memorial Fund, 16331 Peacock Rd., Chadbourn, NC  28431.
