Wilton Edgar Huggins, age 83, of the Beaverdam Community, died Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in Columbus Regional Healthcare, Whiteville, NC. Born September 5, 1937 in Loris, SC, he was the son of the late Howard Huggins and Mary Hair Huggins.
He was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn McPherson Huggins of the home; one son: Ricky Wayne Huggins and wife Jennifer of Chadbourn, NC; two daughters: Teresa Cribb and husband Harold Dean of Chadbourn, NC and Amber Rose Huggins of Whiteville, NC; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one sister: Miriam Gore of Chadbourn, NC.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother: Harold Huggins and one great grandson: Tanner Buffkin.
A graveside service will be held Friday, February, 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the McPherson Cemetery, Chadbourn, NC.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, social distancing will be observed and all attendees are required to wear a mask.
