Wilma Ernestine Phillips, age 78, died Friday, June 14, 2024, in McLeod Seacoast Hospital, Little River, SC. Born in Horry County, SC she was the daughter of the late Oscar Johnson and Toola Rabon Johnson and the widow of Samuel "Sammy" Phillips.
She is survived by two daughters, Toni P. Elliott and husband, Dean of Nichols, SC, Nikki P. Strickland of Green Sea, SC; two grandchildren, Meagan Elliott Dew and husband, Brian and Trevor Strickland; one great-grandchild, Jace "JJ" Dew.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Alton Johnson and James Levon Johnson; sister, Erma Jean Fowler.
Visitation will be held in Inman Ward Funeral Home on Sunday, June 16, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Graveside services will be in the Floyds Freewill Baptist Cemetery, on Three Bend Rd Nichols, SC, on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
