William Clyde James, age 87, of Tabor City, NC, died Monday, January 27, 2025 in Loris Rehab and Nursing Center. Born August 22, 1937 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Buster James and Annie Lee Fowler James.
He is survived by one son, Donald Earl James and wife Debbie of Loris, SC; one brother, Ronnie James of Lexington, NC; three sisters; Alice Norris of Tabor City, NC, Rosa Lee Skeens of Lexington, NC and Myrtle Larue of Tabor City, NC; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Ruth Phillips James; and one daughter, Avonda Norris.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Coleman Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the cemetery.
