William "Billy" Wayne Cribb

William "Billy" Wayne Cribb, age 81, of Whiteville, NC, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025, in the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Born December 8, 1944, in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Beulah Gertrude Norris Cribb and Rossie Odell Cribb.

He is survived by one son, Joey Dewayne Cribb and wife Morgan of Whiteville, NC; one daughter, Aneshia Cribb Ward and husband Gregory of Lake Waccamaw, NC; seven grandchildren, Henry Ward, Dawson Cribb (Ashlan), Laityn Cribb, Mason Cribb, Brantley Nealey, Chreston Cribb, and Maudlyn Cribb and one sister, Anne Hayden Cartrette and her husband Paul of Whiteville, NC.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mable Cartrette Cribb and one brother Bobby Cribb.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the McPherson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
