Loris, SC

William Joseph "Joey" Blackwell age 44, died Saturday, June 29, 2024, in McLeod Loris Hospital, Loris, SC. Born in Charlottesville, VA, he was the son of William Thomas Blackwell and Sandra Osborne Foote.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Timmothy Mishoe of Loris, SC, one brother, TJ Blackwell of Boomer, WV, three sisters, Amanda Lee Simmons of Blackstone, VA, Katherine Foote of Victoria, VA, Devin Foote of Crewe, VA. His best friend, Steve M. Marlowe of Loris, SC.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Madelynn Huebner and one brother, Michael Foote.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Virginia.
