Whitney Leon Duncan

Whitney Leon Duncan, age 55, died Tuesday March 4, 2025 in McLeod Loris Hospital.

He was the son of Hubert Leon “Rod” Duncan and Merlin Fowler Duncan Fipps.

He was an exceptional carpenter with a vivid vision of what he could make out of wood.

He is survived by his mother, Merlin Fipps of Loris, SC. One brother, Marcus Duncan of Brandon, FL.  Cousin, Michael Gleon Fowler of Little River, SC, step father, Randy Fipps of Loris, SC, three step sisters, Angela Fipps of Shallotte, NC, Jessica Fipps of Myrtle Beach, SC, Miranda Fipps of Myrtle Beach, SC, and his love Tanya M. Norris of Tabor City, NC.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 3:00pm in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City, NC. 

Family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
