Weldon Lovett age 82, of the Gapway Community, Tabor City, died Friday December 26, 2025 in Columbus Regional Healthcare System, Whiteville, NC.

Born in Columbus County, NC., he was the son of the late Dennis “Jack” Lovett and Hessie Buffkin Lovett.

He is survived by one daughter, Roxanne Bullock of Tabor City, NC., one son, Greg Lovette and wife Christy, of Marvin, NC., three grandchildren, Kandi Bullock Dill, Abbegail Lovette, Maggie Lovette, one great grandson, Randall Buffkin, one special nephew, Shannon Vineyard and wife Karen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Doris Ann Coleman Lovette, three sisters, Willene Watts, Betty Worley, Juanita Vineyard.

Graveside services will be held Monday, December 29, 2025 at 3:00pm in Gapway Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 28, 2025 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in Inman Ward Funeral Home, Tabor City.
