Wanda Grainger Strickland, age 70, of Clarendon, NC, died Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in her home with her family by her side. Born in Horry County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Clinton M. Grainger and Juelene Larrimore Grainger.

She is survived by her husband: Fred Strickland, Jr. of the home; one daughter: Julie Walker and husband Reggie of Clarendon, NC; one son: Jon Strickland and wife Kendra of Clarendon, NC; one brother: Clinton Grainger and wife Carolyn of Whiteville, NC; four sisters: Carolyn Fipps and husband Anthony of Whiteville, NC, Saundra Hardie of Whiteville, NC Teresa Stephens of Whiteville, NC and Hilda Hardie of Lake Waccamaw, NC; two grandchildren: Jon Cruz Strickland and Kenley Strickland;

A memorial service will be held at a later date and announced at that time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sweet Home Baptist Church, 3111 Walter Todd Rd., Clarendon, NC 28432.
