Wanda Faye (Tyree) Smith

Wanda Faye Smith, age 81, of Tabor City, died Sunday, November 5, 2023 in her home. Born August 29, 1942 in Clearwater, FL, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Thelma Touchston Tyree.

She is survived by her husband, Cody Donald Smith of Tabor City, NC; two daughters, Kristal Brown of Tabor City, NC, and Phyllis Miller of Lucedale, MS; one son, Stephen Yohn of Texas; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Kay Yohn; and three brothers, Mickey Tyree, Wayne Tyree, and Wilson Tyree.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 2:00pm in Emmanuel Holiness Church with burial to follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church.
