Tony James Connor, age 61, of Chadbourn, NC, died Thursday, November 28, 2024, in his home.  Born in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late James Berkley Connor and Mildred Garrell Connor. 

He is survived by his son Coty Connor (Jackie) of Riegelwood, NC, two sisters: Tina Connor of Hallsboro, NC, Wanda Dyson of Chadbourn, NC. wife Jeannie Connor of Chadbourn, NC, special family friend, Raymond Sarvis of Whiteville, NC, two stepchildren, Luther Whitehurst, Elizabeth Whitehurst and was expecting his first grandson, nieces, Chrissy, Kelsey, Hannah, & Jamie, one nephew John. 

He just a retired from Sunny Point and he was a retired member of Roseland Fire Dept. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 6, 2024, at 2:00pm in Inman Ward Funeral Chapel with burial at a later date. 

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
