Tabor City, NC
Tex Cleveland Prince, age 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Lower Cape Fear Lifecare Center. He was born January 8, 1944 in Columbus County to Gussie Mae Arnette Prince and Carl Cleveland Prince
He is survived by his brothers: Charles “Eddie” Prince of Tabor City, NC and Rocky Prince of Tabor City, NC; sisters: Mildred Gilmore of Portsmouth, VA, Pearl Fax of Tabor City, NC, Mazie Heath of Tabor City, NC and Clara Mae Floyd of Tabor City, NC. Tex was also survived by special nieces and nephews, Maria McPherson and her children, Logan and Hannah, Natalie Nobles, her husband Michael and their son Matthew.
Tex was an avid hunter and fisher.
A visitation will be held Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, June 19, 2020 at 3:00 PM in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.
The family will be meeting at the home of Eddie Prince, 2811 Willoughby Rd., Tabor City, NC 28463.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, social distancing will be observed and the family encourages all attendees to wear a mask.
