Tempie Louise Fowler Soles, age 94, of Tabor City, NC, died Wednesday, October 23, 2019, in her home. Born December 2, 1924 in Horry County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Berry Alford Fowler and Louettie Fipps Fowler and the widow of Jettie Bruce Soles.
She is survived by one daughter: Nancy Jayne Soles Holmes and husband Henry Oliver Jr. of Loris, SC; two sisters: Violet Ray of Columbia, SC and Veila Norris of Rock Hill, SC; two grandchildren: Wendell Oliver Holmes and wife Kathy of Bolivia, NC and Kerri Letitia Holmes of Loris, SC; and four great grandchildren: Kenzie Letitia Gaskins, Jody Bruce Gaskins, Michael Denton and Noah Crowder.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three brothers: William Fowler, Vernon Fowler and Wilton Fowler.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 7 PM to 9 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 25, 2019 at 2 PM in the Dogwood Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
