Susan Marie Pitts Powell, age 74, of Garner, NC, died Monday, February 26, 2024 in the Wake Medical Center, Cary, NC.  Born January 21, 1950 in Dothan, AL, she was the daughter of the late Henry Pitts and Florine Phillips Pitts.

She is survived by her husband, Zackaiues “Roger” Powell of Garner, NC; one son, Randy Sam Powell of Lake Waccamaw, NC; one daughter, Renee Santonia McCorcle of Conyers, GA; three grandchildren, Samantha Powell of Wilmington, NC, Kenneth Bernhagen, Joplin, MO, and Katerina Wilson of Joplin, MO; two great grandchildren, Nathanial Wilson of Joplin, MO, and Evelyn Yoders of Joplin, MO.
