Shelby Jean Bryan, age 80, of Whiteville, died Saturday, April 25, 2020 in the Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center of Whiteville.
Born November 21, 1939 in Columbus County, NC she was the daughter of the late Joseph Carson Jernigan and Dulah Mae Hardee Jernigan.
She was the widow of Kent Bryan.
She is survived by one daughter, Christy B. Ward (Woody) of Tabor City, NC, one granddaughter, Chloe Ward of Tabor City, NC, special family friend, Tammie Browning of Whiteville, NC.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by eight brothers: Johnnie Jernigan, Jimmie Jernigan, Don Jernigan, Alfred Jernigan, Roy Knox Jernigan, James Carson Jernigan, Vernon Jernigan and Jackie Jernigan. Three sisters: Edna Cribb, Ila Pearl Norris, Barbara Ann Jernigan.
