Sharon (Edwards) Jernigan

Sharon Edwards Jernigan, age 64, of Tabor City, NC, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026 in her home.

Born February 23, 1962 in High Point, NC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Howard Edwards and Mary Ward Edwards.

She is survived by one sister, April E. Taylor (Shane) of Garner, NC; one niece, Kamryn Shaye Taylor; and one nephew, James Thomas “J.T.” Taylor, both of Garner, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Lennox Jernigan.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 11:00AM in Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City. 

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
