Sharon Sue (Nettles) Gurley

Sharon Sue Gurley, age 72, of Clarendon, NC, died Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in McLeod Seacoast Hospital, Little River, SC.

Born in Hattiesburg, MS. she was the daughter of James Nettles and Dorcas Godwin Nettles. She is survived by her husband, David Gurley of Clarendon, NC., two sons, Dan Gurley of Nakina, NC., Szhon Gurley of Clarendon, NC., one grandson, Cody Gurley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Nettles. 

Visitation will be held Friday, August 15, 2025, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in Inman Ward Funeral Home, Tabor City, NC. 

A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11:00AM in the Stanley Fowler  Cemetery, Clarendon, NC.
