Sarah Lee Currie, age 88, of Whiteville, NC died Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in her home. Born October 25, 1932 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Fred C. and Madie Cribb Watts.
She is survived by her husband: Donald P. Currie, Sr. of the home; two sons: Darren L. Currie and wife Shelly of Whiteville, NC and Phillip “Phil” Currie of Whiteville, NC; two sisters: Sue W. Fipps and her husband Lowery of Eastover, NC and Barbara Miranda and her husband Raymond of Eastover, NC; two grandchildren: Mackenzie and Drake; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday, December 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the service in the cemetery.
