Samuel "Sammy" Phillips

Samuel "Sammy" Phillips age 84, died Saturday, May 25, 2024 in McLeod Seacoast Hospital, Little River, SC. 

Born in Horry County, SC he was the son of the late McKinley and Easter Snow Pridgen Phillips. 

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Ernestine Johnson Phillips of the home. Two daughters, Toni P. Elliott and husband Dean of Nichols, SC, Nikki P. Strickland of Green Sea, SC, one sister, Bernice Johnson of Mullins, SC, two grandchildren; Meagan Elliott Dew and husband Brian and Trevor Strickland and one-great grandchild Jace "JJ" Dew. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Tracy Phillips and Grover Phillips; one sister, Addie Mae Norris. 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in Inman Ward Funeral Home, Tabor City, NC. 

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 11:00am in the Floyds Freewill Baptist Cemetery, on Three Bend Rd Nichols, SC.
