Sadie (Gore) Fowler

Sadie Gore Fowler, age 88, of Tabor City, NC, died Thursday, August 10, 2023 in her home.  Born October 21, 1934 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Robbie Delond Gore and Alma Spivey Gore and the widow of Wade William Fowler.

She is survived by three daughters, Ann F. Hardee (Sanford) of Tabor City, NC, Teresa F. Prince of Tabor City, NC, and Norma Jean McPherson of Tabor City, NC; one brother, Rodney H. Gore of Tabor City, NC; seven grandchildren, Melissa Hoffman (Neil), Jennifer Watts (Brent), Nicholas Hardee (Emily), Christy Blanton, Robby Godwin (Elizabeth), Eric McPherson (Lauren), and Tony McPherson; and ten great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Wanda Gail Todd; two great grandsons, Cohen Hoffman, and Gavin Hoffman; one brother, David Bruce Gore; and four sisters, Estelle G. Williams, Inez Ward, Rebecca Faye Gore, and Vonnie B. Hodge.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Myrtle Green Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM prior to the service in the chapel.
