Roxanne Nobles McDowell, age 63, died Sunday, August 2, 2020 in her home. Born July 30, 1957 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Willie Howard Nobles and Roxie Green Nobles.
She is survived by her fiancé: Ottis Martin of Tabor City, NC; one daughter: Misty McDowell (Aaron McCumbee) of Clarendon, NC; one son: James McDowell III (Tiffany) of Nakina, NC; one brother: Jimmy Wayne Nobles of Chadbourn, NC; three sisters: Pansey Todd of Cerro Gordo, NC, Lorrain Blackwell of Whiteville, NC, and Debbie Smith of Cerro Gordo, NC; one step daughter: Cassandra Martin of Huntsville, AL; and eight grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: David Mark Nobles and James Howard Nobles.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Myrtle Green Cemetery.
Visitation will be held after the service in the cemetery.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic social distancing will be observed and a mask is recommended.
