Obituary
Robert Lee “Ottiwell” Suggs, 59, died Monday, March 20, 2023, in his home. He was born in Columbus County, a son of James Wallace “T Man” Scott and the late Mary Lou (Nealey) Suggs.
He was a farmer and was with the Tabor City Fire Department for 20 years. He would often say that he was a jack of all trades and master of none. He loved being a Papa to his grandbabies more than anything.
He is survived by his father, James Wallace “T Man” Scott; one son, Robert Wayne Suggs; two daughters, Bobbie Nichole “Nikki” Suggs and Mary Evans; one brother, Richard Suggs; one sister, Louise Blanton; seven grandchildren, Serenity, Lanston, and Kamden Alger, Brook, Kaitlyn, De’Shawn and Kay’Shawn Suggs; three great-grandchildren; one nephew, Sean Grainger; and two nieces, Angel Grainger and Hope Dowless.
He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister, Bobbie Jo Suggs.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
