Richard Wayne Ward, age 81, of Green Sea, SC, died Tuesday, March 4, 2025 in his home. He was the son of the late Almon Richard Ward & Ollie Graham Ward.  

He is survived by his three daughters, Michelle Ward (Chris) of Green Sea, SC, Brenda Buffkin of Tabor City, NC, Kim Strickland (Adam) of Tabor City, NC. one brother, Larry Ward of Hattiesburg, MS, five grandchildren, Michael Buffkin, Bo Buffkin, Jordan Manning, Randall Duncan, Houston Spivey, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Almon Richard Ward, one daughter, Farrah Dee Ward, one sister, Eloise Stroud, one brother, Bobby Ward,  two grandchildren, Keisha Ward & Heather McDuffie. 

Visitation will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in Inman Ward Funeral Home.
