Richard J. “Ricky” Faircloth, 62, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022, at his home. He was born September 15, 1960, in Loris, SC, a son of Virginia (Jones) Brown and the late Samuel Joseph Faircloth.
He is survived his mother, Virginia J. Brown of Whiteville; four sons, Russell Sarvis of Loris, Derrick Sarvis of Whiteville, Ricky J. Faircloth, Jr. of Aiken, and Zack Faircloth of Loris; four daughters, Karen Elvis of Loris, Kimmie Williams of Aiken, Shanea Chester of Loris, and Nikki Huggins of Loris; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronnie Brown of Whiteville, and Dennis Todd of Clarendon; two sisters, Wanda Stevens of Whiteville and Rhonda Anthony of Asheboro; and his girlfriend, Tammy Price of the home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Joseph Faircloth and two brothers, Winfred Todd, and Joey Faircloth.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 19 in Powell Cemetery in Tabor City. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service in the cemetery.
