Reba LaFaye (McCumbee) Williamson

Reba LaFaye Williamson age 93, died Thursday, November 2, 2023, in Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center Angel House, Whiteville, NC.

Born in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Herbert McCumbee and Hettie Sophia Fowler McCumbee.

She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Hathaway of Tabor City, NC, Lois Nichols of Jackson, TN. One brother, Don McCumbee of Tabor City, NC, one sister, Virgie Nealy of Norfolk, VA, ten grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, five special family members, Joyce Sarvis, David & Elaine Watters & Brenda & Cecil Norris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edward Grover Williamson Sr., one son, Ronnie Edward Williamson Sr., one daughter, Ann Fowler and one infant son, Grover Cleveland Williamson, one brother, John Henry McCumbee, two sisters, Marie Lovette & Monte Gail McCumbee.  

Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 2:00pm in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.

Family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
