Randy Dean Fowler

Randy Dean Fowler, age 71, of Clarendon, NC passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026 in Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, Whiteville, NC. 

Born October 2, 1954 in Loris, SC, he was the son of the late F.M. Fowler and Mavis Ward Fowler.  He was a graduate of Williams Township High School.  He was employed by Duke Energy for over 40 years and a member of Mission Valley Original Free Will Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Brown Fowler; children, Shannon Fowler Christmas (George) of Tabor City, NC, Amber Fowler Greene of Clarendon, NC, Michelle Benton (Jason) of Ash, NC, and David Martin Little (Becky) of Shallotte, NC; grandchildren, Carter Greene, Molly Greene, Lily Greene, Addison Greene, Catherine Christmas, Skylar Fulford, Abigail Dressler (Reid), Summer Little, Lily Tenenoff (Tanner), McKenzie Benton, Katelyn Fulford, and Landon Fulford; siblings, Ricky Fowler (Melanie), Chucky Fowler (Pam), and Sheila Sykes (Steve); and multiple nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy W. Fowler.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 3:00 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Bethel Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
