Phyllis Norreen Adkins age 80, died Friday, August 9, 2024, in McLeod Loris Hospital, Loris, SC. Born in Charleston, SC, she was the daughter of the late Seibert and Devera Lucille Faircloth Adkins.
She is survived by one son, Michael Wayne Adkins and fiancée, Betty Jean Chestnut of Clarendon, NC. One daughter, Kimberly Hawley and husband, Jim of Pottstown, PA. Four grandchildren; James Hawley, Breanna Hawley, Desiree' Jones, Victoria Jones, and one great-grandchild, Colton Hawley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Jones, two brothers, Darrell Adkins, Sr. and Michael Adkins, and one great grandchild, Hayden Hawley.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 3:00pm in Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Powell Cemetery on Hwy 701 N. Clarendon, NC.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
