Phillip "Phil" Allen Gore

Phillip “Phil” Allen Gore, age 68, of Clarendon, NC, died Monday, August 18, 2025.  Born November 12, 1956 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Daniel Joseph Gore and Annie Jane Richardson Gore.

He was a veteran of the United States Marines Corp.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Ezzell Gore of the home; one daughter, Aubrie Gore Taylor (Ben) of Leland, NC; one son, Jacob Allen Gore (Anna Kay Nance) of Clarendon, NC; three brothers, Joseph Gore (Dorothy) of Whiteville, NC, Jackson Gore of Whiteville, NC, and Eugene Gore (Sandy) of Lake Waccamaw, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Gore Cemetery.  Serving as pall bearers, Mark Shelley, Marc Gore, John Fowler, David Babson, Greg Norman Hewett, and Brent Watts.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church, 3111 Walter Todd Road, Clarendon, NC 28432.
