Mrs. Peggy Watts Currie, age 81, of 105 West 7Th St., Tabor City, NC, died Friday, January 26, 2018, in her home. Born January 19, 1937 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Dow Watts and Edith Soles Watts and the widow of Lewis Mack “LM” Currie.
She is survived by one daughter: Kelli Currie of Tabor City; one son: Greg Currie of Tabor City; two brothers: Don Watts and Ronald Watts, both of Tabor City; four sisters: Virginia Long of Tabor City, Doris Grainger of Green Sea, SC, Betty June Ward of Tabor City and Phyllis Althen of Charleston, SC.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by four brothers: Bill, Ted, Dale and Ned Watts.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the Chapel.
