Paul Richard Zona, age 80, of Green Sea, SC died Sunday, May 5, 2019 in the McLeod Loris Hospital, Loris, SC. Born July 14, 1938 in Lansford, PA, he was the son of the late Paul and Christine Kopla Zona.
He is survived by his wife: Hilda Gail Cox Zona of the home; one son: Paul R Zona and wife Roseann of Lansford, PA; one daughter: Sune Watts of Tabor City, NC; one brother: John Zona of Cinnaminson, NJ; five sisters: Nancy Uhland of New Bern, NC, Mary Lou Dugan of New Bern, NC, Susan Laubach of Westminister, PA, Betka Hiney of New Jersey and Tina of California; four Grandchildren: CC Creech, Brooke Fritze, Cade Watts, Jenny Rebecka Ault and two great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and one infant brother.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 6 til 8 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.
