Patrick Loy Ray, age 86, of Tabor City, NC, died Wednesday, March 18, 2020 in his home. Born June 2, 1933 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Zeno Ray and Luna Belle Wright Ray and the widower of Nancy Spivey Ray.

He is survived by two sons: Patrick Allen Ray of Tabor City, NC and Gerald Love Ray of Mooresville, NC; one sister: Esther Ray Nesbitt of Asheville, NC; two grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister: Valma Hardwick; and one brother: William Floyd Ray.

No services will be held.
