Patrick Dain Lovette, age 43, died Thursday, May 23, 2024, in Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC.

Born in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of George David Lovette Sr. and Myra Daye Hinson.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Skyla Lovette Mayo and husband Chris of Whiteville, NC, and Taegan Lovette of Tabor City, NC; one brother, Cecil Justin Lovette and wife Cassie Jo of Caledonia, MS; one granddaughter, Elliana Mayo; two nephews, Davey Brooks Lovette of Caledonia, MS, and Daniel Lovette of Tabor City, NC; and one niece, Allison Lovette of Whiteville, NC.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, George David Lovette Jr.; maternal grandparents, Lorraine Hinson, and Daniel Raeford Hinson; paternal grandparents, Marie Lovette and Cecil Dainus Lovette.

Patrick donated his kidneys to help save two lives.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 3:00pm in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Wright Cemetery on Minos Meares Rd., Tabor City, NC.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
